serves as a clearinghouse for a network of independent
consultants who have years of "in the trenches"
experience in the delivery of pathology and laboratory medicine
services.
Bernhoff A. Dahl, M.D., is the
principal consultant at QuestPath. He is a Board-certified pathologist
with 25 years of experience, as co-founder and managing partner of
Dahl-Chase Pathology Associates and an array of related ventures both
within and outside of the practice of medicine. During his years of
practice, he became an expert in organizational design and dynamics as
well as leadership issues and skills, with a focus on Strategic Thinking
and Planning. He has applied STP to countless management venues,
particularly specializing in medical counseling and managed healthcare
services.
Robert F. Shapiro, M.D., MSHA,
trained at the University of Nebraska and was Board-certified in AP & CP
in 1970. He achieved an MSHA from the University of Colorado in Denver
in 1992. He was a principal in the merger of Physicians Pathology
Laboratory and Laboratories for Clinical Medicine in Lincoln in 1973. He
has been President, Medical Director, and Chairman of the Board of
Pathology Medical Services for most of his 31 years in Lincoln until
retirement in 2001. He has served as Secretary-Treasurer, and President
of the Nebraska Medical Association. He was Chairman of the State Board
of Health for two years. He has been on the Board of the American
Pathology Foundation for many years and Secretary-Treasurer for the last
five years. He was a principal in the sale of the PMS clinical
laboratory to the Nickles's Institute in 1987. His primary interest is
in mediating the people factors in putting together mergers and joint
ventures, having taken training in mediation in Boston with Lenny
Marcus.
Daniel J. Hanson, M.D.,
is a Board-certified pathologist
with extensive experience in laboratory management and pathology group
dynamics. He earned an MD at the University of Minnesota in 1953 and
went on to become the Chairman of Pathology Services at Mercy Hospital
in Toledo, Ohio, from 1965-1996. He has been the President and Medical
Director of Pathology Labs, Inc. in Toledo since 1874, and a Clinical
Professor of Pathology at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo since
1982. He has served on the Program Committee and Board of Directors for
the American Pathology Foundation and has been its President. He has
served on a number of committees and councils with the College of
American Pathologists.
Bruce Dziura, M.D., is a
Board-certified pathologist with extensive experience in cytopathology.
James J. Navin, M.D., is a
Board-certified pathologist with extensive experience in cytopathology.
George E. Branam, M.D.,
is a Board-certified pathologist
with extensive experience in laboratory management and pathology group
dynamics.
Ronald Villella, M.D.,
is a Board-certified pathologist with
extensive experience in laboratory management and pathology group
dynamics.
Lawrence Peterson, CPA, is a
certified accountant with extensive expertise in laboratory management
and pathology group dynamics.
